Our Concept

Hector Lerma was a visionary and extremely passionate about popularizing Mexican cuisines in the Fort Worth area. The two El Paseo restaurants have evolved to be the go-to destinations for Tex-Mex lovers. Customers love our recipes that are original and authentic, made with high-quality fresh ingredients. The restaurants have been around for almost 40 years, and even with time and increasing competition, these have transformed into local hotspots for customers of all ages, nationalities, castes, and creeds. The simple philosophy of genuine services has helped us gain loyal patronage, which in turn has contributed to our success story. El Paseo is a family legacy. As a specialized Tex-Mex restaurant, it is known for its exceptional customer service. We are a family-first restaurant that values customers and employees alike. That is our competitive advantage, with many of our employees working with us for decades. If you have a zeal for customer service with experience in restaurants or the food industry, you are the ideal candidate for our franchise network. The minimum investment required to start this business is between $286,500 to $502,000, which includes the initial franchise fee of $40,000. The initial investment will go toward essential expenses such as travel and living costs during training, real estate rent deposits, furniture, fixtures, decor, grand opening advertisements, etc.

Training

As a franchise of El Paseo, you will be a part of an extensive training program conducted for business growth. The training will be a total of 124 hours, consisting of 27 hours of classroom training and 97 hours of on-the-job training. You will be introduced to El Paseo and its business model, menu, permits, coding and regulatory compliances, customer services, marketing, and more.
